The ladies of the NFL past and present gathered for a social on Friday, August 19, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL.
During the holiday season PFWA shared hope with a family of five (5) in Jacksonville, FL. Participating families may have experienced any of the following crises during the past few months: death or illness, fire, long-term incarceration of parents, women leaving abusive situations, etc. Individuals, families and businesses "adopt" a family for Christmas, and based on the profile, which includes gift ideas and background on the family's situation, fulfill the wish-lists of all the family members. We adopted one family this year with the hope of increasing the number as we grow. We reached our goal of purchasing all of the items on the family's list.
Special thanks to everyone who participated. Because of your generosity PFWA was able to be a blessing to a family in need!
